Frequently Asked Questions

Who do I work with?

I work with individuals ages 13-40 who are experiencing struggles with substance use and co-occurring disorders, including but not limited to depression and anxiety. I facilitate individuals in processing challenging emotions, developing healthy coping tools, implementing a self-care plan, and creating sustainable change.

Why go to therapy?

Many enter therapy when a crisis occurs that causes them to feel uneasy or distressed. Some venture into therapy to continue with their personal growth. It is important to know that to enter therapy, you do NOT have to be in crisis. Often times, the deepest therapeutic work begins once individuals move through their crisis and enter stabilization.

How long will I be in therapy?

This is up to each individual. The length of time someone participates in therapy is based on their individual therapeutic process. When working with clients, my goal is to empower them to be able to gain self-awareness, develop healthy coping strategies, and implement these tools in their day to day.

How much is therapy?

I bill $225 for a 45-50 minute session. I accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. I do not bill insurance but am happy to provide you with super bills upon request.
